In modern electronic systems, the printed circuit board (PCB) serves as the interface between the electronics and the peripheral system. Traditional soldered connections, although cost-effective, present limitations in terms of automation, mechanical strength, and high-current handling capability. Screw connections are also less reliable, as they apply mechanical stress directly to the PCB; due to the viscoelastic behavior of the material, the clamping force decreases over time, increasing contact resistance and consequently raising the risk of overheating.

For this reason, >BROXING< has developed contact elements—both press-fit and solderable—that ensure high electrical efficiency, mechanical stability, and long service life, even under demanding operating conditions.
